Fashion Recap – SAG Awards

It wouldn’t be an awards show without a fashion recap. Last night’s SAG Awards’ red carpet fashion had way more hits than misses, AND The Help won in every category they should have so it was a great night all around! Viola Davis’s acceptance speech was, by far, the best part of the show.

Now onto the fashion….. first up, a few of our favorite looks that can easily translate from red carpet to the aisle.

One of our most favorite looks of the night was Rose Byrne in this Elie Saab jumpsuit. We love that she took a risk and it totally worked! Any of you brides willing to wear a jumpsuit? It’s very ’70s chic!

Sofia Vergara always looks stunning however we were getting a little bored with her always wearing a mermaid cut and hair down. It was a nice surprise to see her with a bit of a different look last night. Love her dress and pulled back pony.  Plus she’s perfectly accessorized. Winning!

To be honest, Jessica Chastain’s dress left a little (ok, a lot!) to be desired however we had to give her a shout out because this bright blue was the perfect color on her and those earrings were to die for!! Swoon!!

Angie, sorry to say we are not big fans (Team Aniston all the way) however we have to admit you always look fab. Last night was no different, this Jenny Packham black halter was absolutely gorg but what really got us was the perfectly paired jewelery!

Jayma Mays takes the crown for best black dress of the night. This Reem Acra was classicly stunning! Her hair and earrings were perfectly coordinated and not overpowering. She’s the whole package!  Just beautiful!

Another gorgeous black dress we had to mention was Amber Heard. Super chic look!

We never care much for tea length dresses however when you combine Emma Stone and Alexander McQueen it’s always a win win!

These last two looks are the absolute best of the night! Not only because these dresses are breathtakingly stunning but these ladies really know how to pull it all together! We can look at these two all day long.  Here’s Kyra Sedgwick in Pucci and Emily Blunt in Oscar de la Renta (Oscar is our fave). The hair, the make up, the jewelery, the SHOES!! Pure perfection!! Swoon, swoon, swoon!!!
